   RESULTS
Many thanks to everyone who took the time and effort to complete the practice survey in November 2008.  We performed highly in most areas.  Many thanks for all the positive comments
The survey did highlight some specific areas which we have looked at.
 
 
Availability of appointments.  This is an area highlighted last year.  As part of our plan from last year we have been  extending the range of conditions our Practice Nurse team consult on, these include sore throats, earache and urine infections.  One of our Practice Nurses is now a fully qualified Prescriber and our other Nurse is goiing through training just now.  We believe these initiatives will help our availability of appointments.
  
 
Opening Hours.  Again we performed above the UK benchmark on this.  We are open 8.00am-6.00pm Monday to Friday.   As a trial we are looking to increase the amount of late afternoon appointments available.
   
  
Ability to cope with and understand a problem and to keep healthy- There is a full range of information leaflets available in the waiting area on various health issues.  Also general information is available in the Practice Information at the right hand side of this page.   We will focus upon using the website as a key source of information on medical conditions.
