Attending

Appointments

We are currently

 experiencing a very

high rate of patients

failing to attend

appointments.

Failure to attend appointments is a waste ot time, money and results in long waits for other patients to see a GP or Nurse

We do have the right to remove patients from our list for failing to attend appointments.

Please cancel any appointments you cannot attend and allow other patients to see a clinician when they need to.

How to see your Doctor or Nurse

Although you may be registered with one doctor you are encouraged to see any doctor you may wish to discuss your problem with.

However, you do have the right to express a preference to receive treatment from a particular health care professional.  For those patients who do not attend on a regular basis, consultations will continue to be provided when requested.

Surgeries with GPs and nurses are by appointment which can be made personally at the reception desk or by telephone.  The practice offers a range of morning and afternoon appointment times 5 days a week to patients.  Our receptionists can advise you on available appointment times.

Our GPs only speak English however we can arrange interpreting services for Ethnic Minorities if required.  Please speak to reception if you require this service.

Urgent cases can be seen on the same day by attending our walk-in Emergency Clinic between 8:00 and 9:30am, Monday to Friday, when a "first come, first seen" policy operates.  From time to time patients will be taken sooner if their medical condition necessitates this
